Here´s the Tutorial of How-To make Your Own Start Orb
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Make Your Start Button. (Size 54px x 162px)

On One or more Layers should be the Orb.

An other is filled with black.

Merge Your Orb Layers (not the black)

Right-Click on Your Preview Pic in the Layer Section

Then Click on Select Pixel.

Goto Channels and make a new one.

(Name Should be Alpha 1 or something)

Fill the Selection with White Color

Save the Picture as a Bitmap. (Make sure Alpha Channels are turned on)

Save as 32bit Bitmap.

Thanks for this, i actually didn't know that the alpha channel is what triggered what shows, I make start orbs but all of them have the original alpha channel from the original windows button. For most cases it doesn't matter but for buttons smaller than the original this is very helpful.

Thanks for this...I couldn't figure some parts out also.

Still have a problem though...my start button shows each previous state.. I.E. when I mousover its showing original state + hover state...is this normal?
